Congaree Creek borders the Congaree Creek Heritage Preserve and is a beautiful little stream right here in Columbia, only recently available to paddlers. 03 / 17 (trip) Augusta Canal Start: 9:30 am End: 3:00 pm Description: Augusta Canal paddle for Saturday March 17 at 9:30am. Meet at Georgia Welcome Center on I-20 just after you leave SC into Georgia. First exit after crossing bridge over Savannah River. We will caravan to put-in 10 minutes away. This trip is about 7 miles on flat but moving water. It is an annual trip because it is fun, easy for all skills and beautiful scenery. more info

Join Half-Moon Outfitters when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Columbia, SC on Wednesday March 21st at 7:00 pm and to Greenville,SC at the Camelot Cinemas on at Thursday, March 22nd at 7:00 pm. All proceeds from this event will go to the SC Nature Conservancy. more info

03 / 25 (trip) Bates Old River Start: 10:00 am End: 5:00 pm Description: This is a nice, swampy area depending on the water level that Brian O'Cain originally shared with the Club. There are lots of exploring possibilities. It is an old oxbow off the River that has been mostly cut off and now forms its own adventure. All boats and skill levels welcome. Come explore with us. more info
