Great variety and very little current, a bird show (heron rookery) and possibly wild irises and carnivorous plants. Plus, you get to travel across a pond, through a forest of trees and up a creek! more info

02 / 16 (trip) Congaree Creek Start: 10:30 am End: 2:00 pm Description: Everyone is welcomed to join us for a fun, relaxing trip on Congaree Creek. We will paddle from the landing on Highway 321 in West Columbia/Cayce to the take out at Old State Road in Congaree Heritage Preserve. The put in is several blocks east of I-26. The trip length is about 5 miles and should take us somewhere around 3 hours to complete. more info
