"GET BACK ON THE WATER FOR 2008"
Description:
A great opportunity for all our boats and all skill levels, this is a trip that has lots to recommend it. Great variety and very little current, a bird show (heron rookery) and possibly wild irises and carnivorous plants. Plus, you get to travel across a pond, through a forest of trees and up a creek!
Description:
Everyone is welcomed to join us for a fun, relaxing trip on Congaree Creek. We will paddle from the landing on Highway 321 in West Columbia/Cayce to the take out at Old State Road in Congaree Heritage Preserve. The put in is several blocks east of I-26. The trip length is about 5 miles and should take us somewhere around 3 hours to complete.
Description:
Hike the Congaree National Park at the perfect no-bugs time of year. Very little water in the park, no paddling involved ;) We will follow the Weston Lake Loop Trail. Mostly flat, an easy walk, partly on boardwalk. About four and a half miles / 2 to 3 hours. Group decides if longer walk desired.
