Purple Martin Trip to Bomb Island this month?

It'd be too far/congested to

It'd be too far/congested to park at the boat ramp at the dam and paddle out, correct?

Trip

I'd like to go. Last year we paddled from Sheila's house. If we asked nicely she might let us do it again. I'd like to go a little earlier and get off on the side of the island that you're allowed to picnic on. I want to bring my camera gear out and try to get a daylight closeup of a purple martin. Keep me posted if anyone plans to go.
