The regular monthly meeting of Palmetto Paddlers will be held at the Luther Lee building (directions and map on the website) on Tuesday, February 27th at 7:00 PM. We think you'll be interested in the program we have lined up. Keith Beaudry from the American Red Cross will be talking about first aid, wilderness first aid and CPR. And we might be making plans to have classes held just for Palmetto Paddlers to become certified in these disciplines, if there is enough interest. In addition, we hope to discuss water safety/rescue and have a look at what a well-stocked wilderness first kit should contain. Questions and discussion are encouraged.

We will also talk about past paddling trips, describe and sign up for future trips and hold a brief business meeting. Remember, it is time to renew your membership for 2007. Anne will be there to help you sign up. After the meeting, a bunch of folks head out together to a local watering spot for some food and fellowship. As always, guests are welcome.
