Another North Fork trip. Always beautiful and fun. This is a narrow part of the Edisto, above the confluence with the South Fork, forming the main stem Edisto. This stretch has a lot of wilderness on it with very few houses. It is suitable for all boats. There are a lot of twists and turns in this stretch so you will want to be good at steering your boat; there may be some strainers and downfall to maneuver through and around. We will meet at the Orangeburg Rose Garden at 11 and will run a shuttle after unloading the boats. The trip is 12.3 river miles and we will be stopping for lunch so bring food, drinks and sun/rain protection. Contact me at kwhitaker@agfirst.com or call me if you can join us.

Happy Trails. Kate
