This was a great trip!!!! We put on just as tubers were coming in force so we beat them down the river. One of the most enjoyable trips in a while for me. Mild rapids about every few hundred yards. Most class I with maybe one class II near end which was just pure fun. Anyone who does Saluda on Sunday had skills for this river. Recommend shorter boats for this trip but Mike was in his 15' day touring boat. If fact we all commented how well Mike handled this river in the longest boat. This will a trip we plan to do at least once a year. I highly recommend this trip to any novice whitewater paddler but even pros like Dave and Diane had smiles on their faces.
