Paddlers-Bruce, Kyle, Elona, Kate, Ed, Dennis, Linda, Mike
After completing the shuttle to Old State Road we were all on the water just after 11:00. The temperature was in the low 60s and it caused several of the group to remove a layer of clothing before we began paddling. Bruce, Linda and Dennis took turns in the lead and Kate and Ed were running sweep. The trip highlights included some low fallen trees that we all managed to get under and a few scoot overs. We stopped for a lunch break and group picture under the railroad trestle and after a short time were back on the water. There wasn't a lot of wildlife but we did see a few ducks and a couple of white tail deer. Thanks once again goes out to Dennis for his "no snake mojo."
The trip length was 5.3 miles and it took us 2 and half hours paddling time to complete. It was a fine day and everyone enjoyed the trip and we did not have any swimmers.
