Hi, this is Sam from Keep The Midlands Beautiful. On March 1, we will be having the Midlands Makeover, which is our largest event of the year. We host several cleanups each year and encourage other groups to host their own cleanups and projects. This year, one of the cleanups that KMB is
hosting through the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is a cleanup on the Columbia Canal along Riverfront Park. The unique thing about this cleanup is that it will be done on water in a personal kayak or canoe. We will provide supplies, all we are asking for are experienced paddlers with their own kayaks or canoes who are eager to help cleanup the Riverfront
area along the canal.

The main thing we are asking for however is for the help of Palmetto Paddlers to get the word out in the paddling community about this event. Just spread the word.
