Palmetto Pride Saluda River Cleanup

PalmettoPride will be cleaning Mill Race Rapids (shoreline at the main Riverbanks Zoo entrance) on Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12 starting at 10:30am-2pm. Riverbanks Zoo is located at 500 Wildlife Pkwy, Columbia, SC 29210. We will meet in the zoo parking lot if anyone is interested in joining the cleanup please contact dcohea@palmettopride.org. Please do not wear shorts or open toe shoes to the cleanup. PalmettoPride will provide all supplies needed for the cleanup and lunch (please rsvp – lunch/supplies).
River Sweep

You might consider River Sweep in September. Our club usually does something on the Saluda then, but we don't have firm plans for this year yet.
Saluda River Cleanup
My Organization, GE Healthcare, is interested in this event but the June 2008 2-day cleanup doesn't allow time for me to put together a team. Are there any more Saluda River Cleanup projects scheduled in the next two months (July/August)?
