Landsford

The club just paddled it on the 24th. The water was pretty low at the state park and there were constant rocks to deal with. It was enjoyable in a sit on top where it was easy to hop out and push on occasion. Plan on getting wet. You might want to call the park to check on the water levels before you go.

You put in at the north entrance of the state park ($2 per adult fee). If you're just there to see the lilies, you can take out at the south entrance. I don't think it's more than a couple miles. If you want something longer, there is a flatwater stretch below the park to Highway 9 (see this trip report).

The takeout for the short trip is down a creek on river right. Start getting right when you see the "balcony" on the right where hikers go to see the flowers. Soon you'll see a series of markers. First is an orange stick, then an orange circle (or maybe I have those first two swapped), then an orange arrow. We did see some water snakes and poison ivy at the takeout.
