Congaree Creek Dumping?

I went to scope out a put-in for a paddle down Congaree Creek off of 321 and found very sudsy water pooling in the area. Is this normal? I would not want to use this area as a put-in and wondered if there were any other places down stream but above the Heritage Preserve?

Congaree Creek Put-In

Hwy 321 is the only put-in above the Heritage Preserve...there has been some foaming reported in the Saluda River, but this is the first report on Congaree Creek.

I would advise you to paddle the Congaree Creek with another paddler...for the sake of your safety....

Congaree Creek

Thanks for the comment. I always paddle with my fiance and/or friends, safety first! I was just alarmed at the obviously polluted water. Don't think we will put-in here do to the water conditions. I really would love to go down this creek...maybe someone will stop the dumping and clean up the area.
