Put in: Santee State Park boat ramp 10:00 Saturday, November 7th. Paddle across lake to campsite on island. Approximately 1½ miles. Set up camp and people can then explore on their own from there. Return on Sunday.

Be prepared for cool weather paddling.

Canoes are discouraged due to this being an open water crossing.
