Trip timing and route traveled followed the announcement. It was a beautiful warm day and a little overcast which lessened some of the spectacular shadowing which occurs in the flooded swamp.
Harbison State Forest Hike
Submitted by PP Admin on January 19, 2007 - 8:52am.I am offering a "hiking" trip for Saturday January 20, 9am at the Harbison State Forest. This trip will hike down to the canoe put-in and along Broad River with a beautiful view of the river from a high ridge. We have paddled this section several times and it is a good chance to see it before you paddle. This trip is on the Spider Woman Trail. I have recently done this trip and its great.

Sorry for the late notice, but that is how things are sometime. This is a awe inspiring trip. Every time I go into the swamp at high water I feel refreshed for having participated in our beautiful background wonderland.
